For the past several years in my Project Management classes I have played a Candid Camera video to demonstrate GroupThink using an elevator experiment - many of my PM students will remember this:
I came across a more recent version of this video today on ABCNEws.com article entitled "Would You Fall For That? Elevator". It's amazing that even with the test of time that the same idea works. Check it out, and notice that a more modern idea to replace wearing a hat is using a phone to play music:
